Rielsing Grand Cru – Kastelberg

aromas of fruit and stone

Rielsing Grand Cru – Kastelberg

One of the rarest Grands Crus in Alsace from its unique schist terroir.

Grilled langoustines, pan-fried scallops, roasted poulrty.

Pride of Domaine Wach, this dry and structured wine reveals aromas of fruit and stone. The palate is mineral, saline, and powerful. Requires a few years of aging before reaching its peak, and revealing the whole breed of its terroir.

Vintage of paradox. Characterized by random weather and water stress. The vintage 2016 will remain as one of the longest harvest campaigns. We are pleasantly surprised with the quality. The wines are drinkable and liveliness.
